After studying under Ruth Godie, a retired art professor from the University of Tulsa, Jill began to develop her own artistic style. The majority of her artwork is created on-site, giving her the ability to capture the vibrancy and vitality of her surroundings and the people that bring it to life.
Her prints are carefully replicated from her original artwork. Her style started out in a classical manner and then evolved over the years to oil paint and mixed media.
Jill loves to reflect on the world, the nuances of society, and tries to capture those observations on canvas. With each painting, comes a scene that blooms into life, leaving behind a legacy and story for the ages.
